Pink & White Jewelbox
These magical colors are from a seashell called Florida Spiny Jewelbox. Hand-selected at Sanibel Island and Fort Myers Beach. Take this white shell and flip it over to get the pink and purple shades.
Once using high-quality glues, the shells are finalized for sharpness. Shells
are art adhered with a paintbrush by Liquitex for “medium” application.
Durability is elegant and made to last.
The beautiful grapevine wreath is 12" round.

Lovely in White! This heart-shaped wreath is adorned with a beautiful variety of seashells wrapped on a 14" grapeview base design. They're painted in Liquitex to keep their shells lasted. The white bow material can be taken off, if desired, as it is not glued on.

St. Augustine
This St. Augustine seashell wreath was just completed. Two years ago me and Dave enjoyed vacationing there and it was really interesting to find shells I hadn't seen before. From orange colors to white, tan, and beautiful gray's, I was thrilled with the "heartiness" of them, too.

Ocean Blossom
Created this 18" seashell wreath based on all the "rare" yellow and orange shells that I found on Sanibel Island. It's a straw based wreath then wrapped with a fabric of yellow ribbon. Hundreds of shells are glued on using my Arrow TR400DT. For the final look, I decided to use delicate ribbon and wrap that around gently.
Won 3rd Place on March 7-9, 2013, at the Sanibel's 76th Annual Shell Fair and Show.

Heart Wreath in Yellow and Orange
This wreath I designed with yellow and orange shells. These shells are rarer to find and I thought they'd look great by combining the two colors together. By putting the buttercup and cockle shells upside down, they not only provide a 3-D look but also show off their brilliant coloring.

The Lovely Moments Wreath is adorned with yellow seed pods, 3 sanddollars, 2 starfish, and the wreath base is wrapped in a soft yellow color ribbon to emphasize the golden tones. Many special seashells such as the paper fig, olive, murex, coquina, shark's eye, auger, spiny jewel box, whelks, cat's paw, worm shell, buttercup lucine, star shells, cockle shells and more.

Romance Wreath is finally finished!! My dilemma had been to find a bow that would be "just perfect". I knew I didn't want a raffia bow. I had Googled bows to locate a supplier but I was spending too much time surfing and getting no results in the type of bow I wanted. Thanks to a post on my Facebook page Seashell Wreaths by Nancy, my friend Rhonda suggested that I visit a florist shop. What a fabulous idea and was I ever delighted on how attentive they were at the floral shop! The first bow the florist, Susan, tied looked great. Then she said, "I can do better." Susan then picked out a sheer, moss green ribbon and worked her magic. Wow, I love the bow!
Love is in the Air Wreath
Delivered December 2012
This heart-shaped Love is in the Air Wreath is on a straw base and wrapped with a burgundy colored ribbon. The seashells are in softer tones of pink and purple. To warmify it further, I handpainted the two starfish and a variety of other shells using Liquitex Acrylic Color paint called Unbleached Titanium.
I decided to glue the seashells in clusters. I took about 4-6 shells and glued them next to each other and then left some spacing before gluing another cluster. This allowed for the color of the ribbon to be a backdrop for the wreath. Once I finished gluing all the clusters, I then added single shells in between the clusters to add interest.
Wreath size is 14". Hanging hardware included. No longer available.

Ocean Surf Wreath has seashells hand painted in Caribbean Sea colors of blues and greens. Using gold acrylic paint, I gently brushed the shells to give it a rustic, weathered look. Four starfish adorn the top of this 11" wreath. I wrapped shiny blue ribbon around the straw base for a professional finished look. Makes for a great nautical gift!

The Pearls and Lavender Wreath is heart-shaped wreath and made using a straw base and wrapping it with fuschia ribbon. Then I glued a variety of seashells in white and light tan colors. I added lavender poppy seed pods after snipping off all the long stems. Additionally, I took a string of dainty beads and draped it on the wreath and glued in place. For a final touch, I took the wreath to a local florist shop and had them custom tie this beautiful magenta bow.

Color My World Wreath is bright and cheery! I thought I'd try something new here and use moss for fun on this grapevine wreath. I hand painted the seashells with acrylic paint in yellow, lime, magenta, purple and red colors. For a finishing touch, I then added a purple raffia bow.

Purple Passion wreath has lavender seed pods and soft-to-the touch dried flowers in deep purple on a 16" grapevine base. I hand painted the sanddollar, augers, scallop shell, bubble shell, worm shell and coquina shell in a bright magenta shade. The unpainted seashells were chosen for their soft grey and pink colors to create balance. Completing the wreath is a tan rope wound in such a way as to give the wreath a nautical look.

Wildflower Love Wreath
$75
Wildflower Love wreath has vivid yellow flowers, pale yellow and brown seed pods, and creamy white flowers. I had fun using the moss on this one! Can you see the white and brown crinkled pieces? They came in the bag of moss and at first I didn't think I 'd like it. But once I started laying the surrounding colors I fell in love with this moss type and want to go get more. The dried flowers that surround the outside and inside of the wreath were challenging as they tended to shed. To alleviate the shedding, I coated them with a professional grade of varnish. Now I touch them and there's no shedding.

Rose Petal Wall Hanging
I handpainted the coquina shells in purple and the rose petal tellins are painted with a deeper pink color. Purple moss surrounds the edge. Tucked inside the cone are yellow flower buds, small and delicate purple flowers, and greenery accents. This is hanging on the wall in my foyer.

Junonia Shell
75th Annual Sanibel Shell Fair and Show
March 1 -3rd, 2012
Nancy Eckert created her first art for submission, a 16x20 acrylic painting on canvas, for the Sanibel Shell Fair and Show where all seashell art and craft items were submitted. Dave Eckert, wonderful husband, and Nancy took their boat out to Sanibel Island December of 2011 on a very warm, beautiful, sunny day. Dave guided the boat close to the lighthouse around the area that goes from the bay side to the Gulf of Mexico. On this side of Sanibel Island, our 24' Scout Abaco named Doghouse, anchored south of the lighthouse. Dave found a junonia shell while laying out the rear anchor. It's so rare to find junonia shells that this is the first for him in 13 years.
